Established in 2017, VIT Mathematical Association aims to enhance students' mathematical comprehension by offering research-based learning programs. Through workshops and events, VITMAS seeks to reignite students' passion for mathematics, empowering them with skills to comprehend probabilities and industry forecasts. With a vision to transcend classroom boundaries, it endeavors to revolutionize the teaching and learning methods of mathematics at VIT.
DBQC, or the Quiz Club of VIT, Vellore, is a pioneering hub for quizzing, renowned for its vibrant culture and diverse events like Quizzes of the Month, Summer of Quiz, and themed quizzes. As one of the oldest clubs in VIT, DBQC promotes fun and intellectually stimulating quizzing experiences, fostering a competitive spirit while embracing inclusivity, making it a cornerstone of India's quizzing circuit.

This round combines your love of math, puzzles, and technology with some
brain-teasing trivia!
ROUND 2
Reverse Coding
TIME:
11:45 to 2:15
Participants will be presented with a program's functionality or output, obfuscated
code, or encrypted instructions.
ROUND 3
Cicada 3301
TIME:
04:00 to 07:00
A cryptic message surfaces online, seemingly innocuous but riddled with hidden
meaning. It sparks a frenzy among a specific group of people, those who crave a
challenge and relish puzzles. The message hints at a grand secret, a deeper layer to
reality, or a hidden society.
Rules/Regulation
- Participants start with 200 points.
- Winners of the first rounds maintain their points.
- Sharing hints with other participants incurs no penalty.
- Participants are polled every 25 minutes for hint requests.
- If over 50% request hints, they are provided with a progressive point deduction for each hint used.
- If less than 50% request hints, no hints are given.
- Successful completion of a round earns 25 points.
- Deductions for hints are as follows: 1st Hint: 25 points, 2nd Hint: 50 points, 3rd Hint: 75 points, 4th Hint: 100 points.
- Participants can request hints without penalty.
- The point system incentivizes successful completion and strategic use of hints.
